Greenpeace targets TATA on the basis of a contoversial report

The protest by Greenpeace regarding the Olive Ridley turtles and the Dhamra Port for some reason seems to be specifically directed towards TATA. In reality you would find ample information about what a fantastic job TATA is doing to protect the environment, right from a location which by no standards is near the nesting grounds of the Olive Ridley turtle. The basis of Greenpeace report, namely a study conducted by Dr. S.K. Dutta of North Orissa University, is itself mired in controversy. The university has gone on record disputing it as having been tampered with by Greenpeace. The report published by the University in their website is different from the one published by Greenpeace. Neither the original report nor the report published by Greenpeace has any evidence regarding movement of live turtles. They only refer to turtle carcasses. There are many such crucial changes by Greenpeace in its published report, which raises serious questions about its credibility. It angers me that Greenpeace has gone to great lengths to set-up TATA and gain public sympathy on this issue.
